I totally love CityMama

by Admin on May 24, 2007

Beth and Duane Chapman of Dog the Bounty HunterAs I was cruising through my daily reads and I came across CityMama’s blog and she wrote about how much she loved Beth Chapman, her style (who doesn’t love a woman who can lay the smack-down on a criminal in stilettos and well manicured nails… and doesn’t break them!).

I admit that I’m a full out fan of Dog the Bounty Hunter, and I LOVE to see stories like this by normal, everyday people.  Where the show touches them in some way.  I have to agree with CityMama that Beth dresses in a style all of her own.  She dresses that way to show off a little leg, that Duane likes to see.  I LOVE the fact that she’s who she is and doesn’t take crap.  She’s just Beth.  I so wish I was more like that!

I love that Duane and Beth just seem to be so in sync with each other and that when they’re mad at each other (it is a stressful job after all) that they get mad… but at the end of the day they’re family.  They love each other and work through it.  They’ve found God, they’ve found each other.  I just feel that Beth Chapman is one of those ladies that I’d really like to meet.  I’d really like to be her friend.  If one day I end up in Hawaii… I may be very tempted to see where they work, maybe get an autograph or two or three there.  That really does… make out that Happiness is…

So be sure to stop by CityMama’s blog and see what she has to say about Beth and Duane Chapman!

The Mystery of Mona Lisa

by Admin on May 23, 2007

Last night I saw the hour premiere of Season 4 of Dog the Bounty Hunter with the Mystery of Mona Lisa.  I thought it was a really good episode, where they get a portrait of Barbara Katie who had passed away and it’s Lyssa who makes everyone aware that the new bounty their after - Mona Lisa - is born on the same day as Barbara Katie Chapman was.

I thought an hour dedicated to hunting down Mona Lisa was really good - there wasn’t much in the way of lulls, and it was really cool that they didn’t catch her right off the bat - that there was a moment where they had her, but lost her in the truck.  Beth Chapman admitted that, that sort of thing didn’t happen much… which led to a pretty intense hunt for Mona Lisa.

I do have to add, the outfit that Beth was wearing, with the black bolero and hot pink top sure did accentuate what God gave her.  I don’t know how people work around her, without being distracted.  I mean that in the nicest way… LOL.  Holy Jeebus she’s got a set!

The show was the first I’d seen in a few weeks, and it reminded me of how much I love Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E.  Seriously - LOVE THE SHOW!

I think the family has been through so much lately… and I just think that it’s nice to see them get the fugitive, and see them want her to do better.

More about the Death of Russell Chapman

by Admin on May 23, 2007

If you’ve been following the death of Russell Chapman, the brother of Tim Chapman from the TV show Dog the Bounty Hunter, there is another article out by the Sun Herald.

Russ Chapman, a Pascagoula man and longtime member of the crew of bondsmen from A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” died Sunday at Singing River Hospital from liver and kidney failure. He was 43.

As children Russell Chapman was like a father figure to Tim Chapman, and in their adulthood, Tim took the roll to make sure that Russ would be alright.  If ever they moved there was always a place for Russ to stay.

Tim has taken the death of Russ very hard.

Beware of the Dog

by Admin on May 22, 2007

A little snippet in the Denver Post says that Dog the Bounty Hunter is spending this month filming “Dogography” with the entire TV crew.  The documentary will showcase how Dog grew up - where his roots are - “poor, tough and in trouble”
