I was denied at Dog Board

Wow. Ok. I don’t check my email often enough I guess, but I recieved an email from Dog Board - the “original” duane chapman fan forum. A little while back I’d signed up to view and comment on the site - thinking, since I’m a fan - that this would be great way to introduce myself and this site. Maybe rangle a few people into coming to see what was here.

We’re fans right?

Well I didn’t get past signing up and on June 12th I got this email:

Our staff has opted not to approve your account, and therefore it has been removed.

That was it. Nothing more said. I was not approved. Now with that explaination I’m left wondering why I was denied. So I’m going email and see why. This is what I’m thinking:

  1. I wasn’t “active” enough on the board. Although I don’t remember really being able to access anything… but that could be due to my poor memory.
  2. They see my site as too much competition (a girl can dream can’t she).
  3. They think I might spam the boards? Not likely - I hate that myself and wouldn’t bother doing it on anyone elses.
  4. Just randomly denied.
  5. Something else….

Honestly I’m not sure why I was booted. So I’m going to send an email for an explaination.

UPDATE:

Well, they don’t make it easy to get a hold of them outside of the forum.  So the email they sent that from, bounced back.  So now I’m not any closer to figuring out why I was denied. You’d think they’d like to have someone in there that loves Dog the Bounty Hunter as much as I do… but I didn’t get a chance.

Anyone else tried them out? Any idea of how to get a hold of someone there to get more an answer?

Not being approved for that site is a a good thing. It is full of arguments and nonsense and most normal people dont last there. Its not original at all, there have been many over the years. I joined the official fan club, paid 29 bucks by paypay, and got a tshirt and membership in the Fan Club and Forum. That Orginal Fan club is not official and seems to be full of the stalker type of fan. Best to stay away from it. I was a member and left right away when I read the foul language and non stop arguments and hate on that board.

Wow Julie that place doesn’t sound so great. Maybe it is a good thing that I didn’t get past trying to register for it. From what you’ve said - the official fan club seems to be the best route to take… and it’s a total bonus to get a shirt! :)

… thanks Julie for the feedback about the site (now I don’t feel like I’ve missed out)

They will not tell you why…..if you are on any of the other groups you are listed as a “stalker” as said by Beth herself and given the boot! You are better off the fan club is just a way to pad pockets. They are very nasty over there you are better off staying away. The fanclub is run by Beth’s family as well!

Pooge, if that is true… that’s crazy! I can’t imagine that … being called a stalker. Geez. I don’t know what to say, except that’s just plain crazy.
