It might look like they’re having a laugh over the latest controversy to surround Duane Chapman and his verbal tirade on the answering machine.
Over at Gossip Rocks, they’ve got an article about the support he’s receiving from fans in Hawaii.
Fans and neighbors of the Dog defended the bounty hunter yesterday and expressed hope his A&E reality show is not in jeopardy from his use of racial slurs in a taped conversation.
“What he does in private shouldn’t affect the show whatsoever,” said Amy Lusk, 23, of Aubrey, Texas, who hoped to catch a glimpse of Duane “Dog” Chapman and his son Leland at his Honolulu Da Kine Bail Bonds office.
“Hopefully, you’re wrong,” she told a reporter who informed her the show might be suspended. “There’ll be a lot of upset people.”
The article over at Gossip Rocks continues to include more commentary from people who have a few words to say about Dog and his use of the n-word.
They end the article with the following:
This is my personal favorite part: “It’s that we use the word “n____.” We don’t mean “you f___ scum n_____ without a soul.” We don’t mean that s___,”.
Because we all know that when a family of white trash rednecks with mullets and huge overbites say nigga, it’s always for a credible reason.
… you know there’s a bit of hater-aid in that one… but what do you think about this latest bit of controversy to hit the Chapman family?

Private conversations are suppose to be private….period. His son is out to make a lot of $ and seek a lot of revenge. What kind of a man is his son anyway. I’d bet his father’s done a lot more good in this world than he has.

It is so ridiculous to take the show off the air. What about Tim, Leland, Duane Lee, Baby Lyss ? What about their Livelihood? Is it all to be forfeited because of the excon dope taking snake brother? He setup his dad. He knew exactly how dad would react.
A & E Bleep out the offensive words–bring Dog back!!!

“Dog is my favorite show”. A private phone call is a private phone call. How would A & E officials like it if the public demanded that they wear wires 24/7 so the public knows every word and move that A & E officials are doing/saying. Then if the public does not like even one thing that the officials say or do than the public has the right to fire an A & E official. Would you like that A & E? No, you wouldn’t because that would be an evasion of privacy. Come on A & E and put Dog back on the air before you lose all of your ratings (because people are going to stop watching your network).

Dog is a Leader, hero and and A role model he is A&E #1 show if the drop him another network will pick him up and make a big profit, Dog is entitle to his privacy one bad word doesn’t make him a bad man, He has apologized and that should be enough, If he was set-up this would never have happened.

I love the dog and believe he was angry at the time when he used a bad word that has offended the holier than thou. Why are they offended when blacks continously use it towards themselves and other races.
I support the dog. Bring him back !!!
