A&E suspends Dog the Bounty Hunter TV Show

Ah crap… say it ain’t so… but it looks like A&E has suspended Dog the Bounty Hunter indefinitely until they’ve sorted out this whole n-word debaucle.
Canada.com is reporting that Duane Chapman is in the Doghouse and it doesn’t look good for him.
“A&E has slapped a muzzle on Dog the Bounty Hunter. The network indefinitely suspended their hit reality show about the fugitive chasing bail bondsman after a nasty, expletive-laden recording from lead star Duane “Dog” Chapman surfaced on the Web.
The National Enquirer posted the full, nearly eight-minute phone conversation between Dog and his son, Tucker, on their website. In the recording, the con catcher tries to convince his son to break up with his new girlfriend, Monique Shinnery, a black woman Dog worries will take offense to the family’s liberal dropping of the N-bomb.”
As you know, Dog is already trying to make amends for his phone faux pas. He issued a statement on Wednesday, saying, “My sincerest, heartfelt apologies go out to every person I have offended for my regrettable use of very inappropriate language. I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private phone conversation.”
I hope he can get this sorted out, and learn that you just can’t do that sort of thing when you’re a celebrity - with a rather dis-functional family.
He added, “I was disappointed in his choice of a friend, not due to her race, but her character. However, I should have never used that term.”
