As Duane Chapman pushes on with his apology tour he made a stop at Larry King and I actually got a chance to catch the show and watch Dog and Larry chat about the tape. Larry re-played the tape and talked about how much Tucker had sold the tape for to the National Enquirer. Dog sat through it all, I felt for him. I can’t imagine having to sit through something that embarassing - over and over and have to replay that whole conversation over and over - in front of everyone - all very public.
No, he shouldn’t have said what he did.
But man he’s been put out to dry.
One thing that did hit home for me was that they were running a poll on Larry King on whether or not Dog should lose his show after hearing those comments. At the time 66% on his site said “No”. As of today, on this site, 242 votes and an 88% support vote that Dog should not lose his job.
Dog if you’re reading this - use our poll to get your show back on A&E television!
There are petitions out there to get Dog’s show back on the air, and I think Dog is doing the right thing in getting help for his anger. In his conversation with Larry King, Dog explained how he now realizes that some of the words he used - those swear words - instead of intimidating were actually hurting words.
Coming from Dog - I’d run more with intimidating… but you know he’s taking the time to stop the swearing. Learning to make a different choice. I have to give it to him for trying. It’s hard to get out of a habit like that.
I really hope he gets his show back. If you’d like to support Duane “Dog” Chapman and see that he gets his show back on A&E - drop A&E a message - fill out an online petition to get his show back.
Go Dog.

I think Dog has apologised enough. We all say things sometimes that we may later regret, Everyone does. What else can the man do? People need to think about all the good that he and his family do. Bring back the show for heavens sake. I need to see “The Leland”. That’s not the only reason it should be put back on air though, it’s actually a really good show…..highly entertaining at times. Leland is just an added bonus.
We want Dog, We want Dog, We want Dog, We want Dog, We want Dog………………………………………..

you know the dog is’nt nearly as bad as some celebrities out there, for instances brittany, and paris, out there with majority of todays kids looking up to them, and teaching our children how to flash their beavers in front of the camera, or dumping their babies off so they can split and get loaded. I think after all the hell dog’s had to go through losing his son for 20 something years is an awefull long time to have to pray for a child, and hoping the whole time, they get healed and try to do right by life, and than come to find out, it’s too late, they still can’t seem to get it together. He lowers his hand for the kid and the boy stabs him in the neck for it, I mean lets face that was a dirty deed. Butt what comes around goes around, he is the one who has to live with that on his conscience. If that was my bro, well lets just say his b**** would have been checked from the start. She would have learned her place reall quick! Sounds horrible I know but if she’s gonna act like a hard ass about it, she better, make sure the shoes are gonna fit first.
