Daniel Taylor over at blog.synthesis has a few words to share about the latest fiasco to hit the Chapman family. He’s defintely got a point when he says that Dog got PWN3D by his son. He most certainly did. There is no privacy in that family and Daniel makes a great point by saying:
I would ALMOST feel sorry for Dog, I mean, everyone fucks up, especially when no ones looking. But unfortunately, bylaw 345 line 6 of the 21st Century Media Rulebook states that “any person starring or otherwise appearing in a biographical reality television series based upon their supposed ‘real life’ automatically forfeits any and all right to privacy and/or sympathy from the media and greater public in the event of a personal fuck-up.” Sorry, brah. Aloha!!
Yup, I’d have to agree - there is no privacy - especially if your a celebrity with your own show. Sad but true.

It might look like they’re having a laugh over the latest controversy to surround Duane Chapman and his verbal tirade on the answering machine.
Over at Gossip Rocks, they’ve got an article about the support he’s receiving from fans in Hawaii.
Fans and neighbors of the Dog defended the bounty hunter yesterday and expressed hope his A&E reality show is not in jeopardy from his use of racial slurs in a taped conversation.
“What he does in private shouldn’t affect the show whatsoever,” said Amy Lusk, 23, of Aubrey, Texas, who hoped to catch a glimpse of Duane “Dog” Chapman and his son Leland at his Honolulu Da Kine Bail Bonds office.
“Hopefully, you’re wrong,” she told a reporter who informed her the show might be suspended. “There’ll be a lot of upset people.”
The article over at Gossip Rocks continues to include more commentary from people who have a few words to say about Dog and his use of the n-word.
They end the article with the following:
This is my personal favorite part: “It’s that we use the word “n____.” We don’t mean “you f___ scum n_____ without a soul.” We don’t mean that s___,”.
Because we all know that when a family of white trash rednecks with mullets and huge overbites say nigga, it’s always for a credible reason.
… you know there’s a bit of hater-aid in that one… but what do you think about this latest bit of controversy to hit the Chapman family?

Robyn over at Orato, brings news of Dog apologizing for the racial slur that was was all over the news yesterday.
“Duane “Dog” Chapman finds himself in hot water after it is leaked that he used the “N-word” in a heated, private telephone conversation with his son. In this exclusive statement, Dog apologizes to his fans, saying he will do whatever it takes to restore balance. Chapman’s show Dog The Bounty Hunter is A&E’s number one rated show, and his book You Can Run But You Can’t Hide went number one on the non-fiction Best Seller’s list. This latest infraction will once again test his fans’ loyalty and his ability to redeem himself in crisis.”
Duane “Dog” Chapman explains the tirade,
My sincerest, heartfelt appologies go out to every person I have offended for my regrettable use of very inappropriate language. I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private phone conversation. It was completely taken out of context.
…I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world. I am ashamed of myself and I pledge to do whatever I can to repair this damage I have caused.

It’s all over the news today. Duane “Dog” Chapman called his son’s girlfriend the “n-word”. Is his career over?
Here is a transcript of the audio tape obtained by the National Enquirer of Dog the Bounty Hunter ordering his son Tucker to break up with his girlfriend who is black. Tucker was recently released from prison where he was serving 20 years on drug charges.
Duane “Dog” Chapman: I don’t care if she’s a Mexican, a whore or whatever. It’s not because she’s black, it’s because we use the word ni**er sometimes here. I’m not gonna take a chance ever in life of losing everything I’ve worked for for 30 years because some fucking ni**er heard us say ni**er and turned us in to the Enquirer magazine. Our career is over! I’m not taking that chance at all! Never in life! Never! Never! If Lyssa [Dog's daughter] was dating a ni**er, we would all say ‘fuck you!’ And you know that. If Lyssa brought a black guy home ya da da… it’s not that they’re black, it’s none of that. It’s that we use the word ni**er. We don’t mean you fucking scum ni**er without a soul. We don’t mean that shit. But America would think we mean that. And we’re not taking a chance on losing everything we got over a racial slur because our son goes with a girl like that. I can’t do that Tucker. You can’t expect Gary, Bonnie, Cecily, all them young kids to [garbled] because ‘I’m in love for 7 months’ - fuck that! So, I’ll help you get another job but you can not work here unless you break up with her and she’s out of your life. I can’t handle that shit. I got ‘em in the parking lot trying to record us. I got that girl saying she’s gonna wear a recorder…
Tucker Chapman: I don’t even know what to say.
Oh damn it Dog, you of all people should know better.
Was Dog mad at Tucker for so many other reasons, and this was an easy was an outlet for the frustration and anger?
Unfortunately there is no excuse… and that’s also so dumb for leaving something like that on an answering machine. WTF Dog??
