It’s an interesting read - whatever side you want to be on. Take a peek at what the Conservative Maverick has to say on what happened to Don Imus and Duane Chapman.

In the News
Over at the Hawaii Reporter they’ve got an article about an episode from Dog the Bounty Hunter that took place in 2004 that now seems to bind them with the recent death of murdered toddler Cyrus Belt.
From the Editor’s note on the article:
Editor’s note: The Hawaii-based television show, “Dog, The Bounty Hunter,” featured on Sept. 28, 2004, the grandfather of 23-month-old Cyrus Belt - Lilo Asiata - as the “Godfather of Waikiki.”
To give you a little background on the situation:
Cyrus was thrown from an H-1 Freeway overpass to his death last week by his neighbor Matthew Higa who is reportedly a mentally ill drug addict. Both Cyrus’ grandfather, featured in this show, and his mother, have admitted to Crystal Meth addictions.
The article goes into great detail, and I’ll leave you with the link if you want to check it out. It’s such a sad story about little Cyrus… and how strange that such a tragic story is inter-twined with the Dog the Bounty Hunter show.

Over at FoxNews they’ve got an interview between Greta Van Susteren and Duane “Dog” Chapman. As of this post, the edit for the transcript was a bit rushed. So it may still not be in it’s final form and updates will occur.
The interview was about the manhunt to Mexico to apprehend Marine Cesar Laurean. They wanted Duane’s views on how to capture Marine, since Dog got into a lot of hot water with his manhunt in 2003.

E!Online reports a bit more about the Mexican judicial system coming down with their ruling on not extraditing Duane Chapman to Mexico to face charges about the 2003 case with Andrew Luster.
You can read their article here.
A little snippet of what Duane had to say when he heard the ruling in his favor:
“We are ecstatic that this nightmare is finally over and happy to see the Mexican justice system works,” the 54-year-old Dog the Bounty Hunter star and his wife, Beth, said in a statement. “We can all now move forward.”
Seriously I have to say - with everything that’s been happening to the Chapmans since everything fell apart last year, it’s nice to hear. I can’t say that enough.

… Should A&E bring back Dog the Bounty Hunter to primetime? I love to find these sorts of blogs, where they’re looking around the Internet and find some great information about Dog the Bounty Hunter.
DeadlyViper was on Facebook and he saw an advertisement about “Bring Dog Chapman Back!” and he clicked the link and that took him to an online petition. You can read more about what he saw, and the link to the petition to help get Dog back on the air.
